Death of an Employee
In the event that you die, a spouse, dependent, or beneficiary must report your death to the Northrop Grumman Benefit Center (NGBC) at 1-800-894-4194 within 31 days of your death. Your survivor(s) will receive an information packet from the NGBC.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential and professional counseling service provided free of charge to your family. Professional counselors are available to help you and your family deal with difficult issues, such as death. EAP counselors are available by calling 1-800-982-8161.
Your eligible dependents may continue certain benefit coverage through COBRA.
