Dependent Day Care Cost Change
If you change dependent care providers, your dependent starts school, or the cost of your dependent's day care increases, there may be a change in your dependent day care costs. If this happens, you can change the amount you contribute to your Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account. However, if the dependent day care provider is a member of your family, you may not change your contributions.
You have 31 days after the event to make certain benefit changes. Your changes are effective with the first pay period after you notify the Northrop Grumman Benefits Center (NGBC). If you do not meet the 31-day deadline, you must wait until annual enrollment to make changes.
If you are making changes within 31 days of the event, review the benefits listed below to see the changes you may make or changes that will occur as a result of this life event.
