Other Loss of Child Eligibility
There are a number of situations where your child may lose eligibility. For example, your child no longer is an eligible dependent if he or she marries or starts a new job with benefits.
If you make this change 31 days after the event, you can only drop your dependent's coverage.
If your child loses eligibility, you must cancel his or her benefits. However, he or she may elect to continue benefits coverage under COBRA.
